Trading Policy:

Customer satisfaction is our priority, therefore we are not happy unless you are happy. We want to make sure you are delighted with your purchase so we offer a money back guarantee if you are in any way dissatisfied with your goods. Please contact us if you are unhappy and we will make arrangements to refund or exchange your goods. Unfortunately, we cannot refund or exchange leaflets, opened chartpacks or custom cut fabric.

All returns or exchanges must be made within 14 days of receiving your order and you are responsible for the return postage.

We operate from New Zealand, but welcome international orders. You can order from us in several ways:

Payment:

Paying for your order is easy.

We accept Visa and Mastercard.

We accept bank cheques or cheques drawn on a New Zealand bank. If paying by personal cheque, we cannot ship goods until the cheque has cleared (usually 5 working days).

We will accept international money orders in New Zealand dollars.

Shipping info

Standard charges for packages going letter rate (these must weigh less than 200 grams and be less than 1cm thick)

New Zealand: $3 letter rate or $5 parcel rate
Australia: $4.50
Any other area: $5

These prices are intended for an A4 paper envelope. If by chance your purchase requires a bigger envelope, or weighs over 200 grams, the shipping cost will be extra, but you will only pay the actual cost of shipping and packaging. As an example for international orders, I can usually fit 2 fat quarters of fabric or the equivalent in an envelope for this price. On the whole, postage is very reasonable in New Zealand. I will notify you when I ship your order as to what the postage cost is. If you wish to know before I ship your order please let me know when you place your order.

All international orders will be shipped airmail. Goods take approximately 4 days to reach Australia and the Pacific, allow 7 days for Europe, England, Canada and the US. It may take a little longer to reach other areas.

Security

Countrystitch is Netscape Secure. Secure mode allows you to pass securely encrypted data over the Internet. The latest versions of Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer both support secure mode.

Netscape secure documents can be identified by the unbroken doorkey icon on a blue background in the bottom left corner of the Netscape Navigator window. In addition, the colorbar across the top of the content area is blue for secure documents. Microsoft secure documents have a small closed padlock in the bottom right corner of the Internet Explorer window.

You can enter your credit card number on a secure form and transmit the form over the Internet to a secure server without risk of an intermediary obtaining your credit card information. If. however , you do not feel happy about entering your details via the order form, please email us and make alternative arrangements. Customer security is of paramount importance to us. All credit card details sent to Countrystitch are stored securely in a non-networked customer database and are not revealed to any other parties. I do NOT keep credit card details in an online database.

Countrystitch has a firm commitment to your privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website.

Our site uses an order form for customers to place orders and request information. We collect customer's contact information (such as email address), delivery information (such as physical address) and financial information (such as credit card numbers).

This information is used to send orders to our customers, get in touch with the customer when necessary and to bill the customer for products and services. We do not collect personal information without your knowledge and permission, nor do we resell or distribute any site visitor data, including information that may be collected as a natural by-product of your visit.
